Prins Kasprojecten receives CE marking
Prins Kasprojecten, part of the Prins Group, received the CE marking on 30 June after a successful audit. The CE marking confirms that Prins meets all laws and regulations under the NEN-EN 1090. This entails that all products designed, manufactured and processed comply with all the requirements.
Prince Kasprojecten has received the CE mark for its structural steel and aluminium components, which are used in the construction of greenhouses. The Operational director of the Prins Group, Nico van de Laar, said that "we see the granting of the CE marking as a further step forward in ensuring the high quality that our group stands for."
NEN-EN 1090
From 1 July 2014, the European companies that manufacture steel and aluminium structures must comply with the regulations established in the NEN-EN 1090 standard, which was introduced to unify the rules within the European Union. Some of the standards it covers include the design, manufacture and construction of structural steel and aluminium parts.
