A new greenhouse complex worth 2.2 billion Rouble will start operating next September in the Tyumen region. The Department of Investment Policy and State Support of Entrepreneurship of the Tyumen region announced that this large-scale construction project is being carried out near the village of Narimanovo. The new complex will count with a total of 11 hectares and currently work is underway to build the structures.
Commissioning of the first stage is scheduled for September 2014. The project, which was initiated by Greenhouse Growth Technologies LLC, will be carried out using the most modern Dutch high-tech greenhouse technology.
The project will create 183 jobs, most of which will be filled by residents of the Tyumen region. Its production capacity will reach about 9 tonnes of vegetables per year by 2015.
