BioSafe Systems welcomes Pamela Sweeten as Food Safety Technical Representative
BioSafe Systems is pleased to welcome Pamela Sweeten. Pamela recently joined BioSafe Systems as Food Safety Technical Representative. She attended California State University Stanislaus and has worked within the food safety industry for 25 years in sales, marketing and grower relations.
Based out of the San Joaquin Valley in California, Pamela has owned her own business, P. Sweeten Consulting, for the last ten years. She has assisted clients in adapting to the new Food Safety Modernization Act regulations, as well as helped growers develop cloud-based record-keeping to track their crops from field to table. She has also worked as an advocate for the agricultural community through her active membership in organizations such as California Women for Agriculture and American Agri-Women and is a founding member of Women in Agriculture for Mentoring and Empowerment.
“I originally took a more active role in the agricultural community because I wondered where my children’s and future grandchildren’s food would come from and I was concerned about the safety of that supply,” Sweeten said. “I believe that joining the BioSafe family is the best way for me to help growers and producers to ensure that they are providing the highest quality products possible.”
Pamela’s focus will include developing BioSafe Systems post-harvest and food safety opportunities with distribution partners, growers, packers and processors, in addition to working with the BioSafe Systems agriculture sales team on field-to-fork opportunities.
