The courses were dedicated to producers and technicians from local companies and which concerned the "Soil-less and rootstock cultivation of tomatoes" and "Physiology and morphology of plants". Over 150 took part.

The sessions took place in Pachino and Vittoria and Dr. Paolo Battistel, a well-known consultant with experience at an international level, took part as a speaker and shared his advice.

The sessions were divided into Basic and Advanced to reach different targets and give the possibility of growing to those who already took part the previous year.

Ignazio Cacciaguerra, Sales promoter, said that "comments were really positive, and it is what stimulates us to improve this type of service. We are always on the side of producers, especially at times of crisis, and we try to help them so that they can be competitive in the market."

Francesco Boccia, Marketing & Communication Manager Italia, added that "our commitment is to provide innovative solutions to help producers be more competitive and share cultivation techniques to lower costs and waste. Varietal innovation has developed alongside cultivation techniques, so it is essential to update in order to produce excellent products and succeed at a domestic and European level."
