Engage Agro Europe to present its nutrient products at Fruit Focus
Engage Agro Europe specialise in crop enhancement and nutritional products for agriculture, horticulture, turf and ornamentals. The company’s range of nutrient products are suitable for a wide range of crops and a variety of growing conditions. These products are research-driven, with proven proprietary formulations that improve plant health and performance.
EAE was established in October 2012 and is part of the Engage Agro Group based in Canada and the USA.
The company brings to the European markets three main ranges of fertilisers alongside an exciting locker of unique speciality products designed to aid growers in their continued struggle to meet the quality verses yield potential of crops under an increasingly demanding set of growing parameters.
EAE now has established product ranges with distribution across Europe. The products have been placed with key consultants and influencers to generate crop data for Europe as well as building the credibility of the technologies employed within.
The company’s key objectives are to provide the European market with new technologies that solve problems that continually beset growers and farmers and also to provide advanced technologies which bring innovation to existing product types to aid growers and provide advisors with a greater arsenal of products with which to help growers overcome specific nutritional issues.
Engage Agro Europe brings some exciting ranges to European growers:
Releaf Range
A new range of foliar micro nutrients The Releaf range employs MAS (mineral assimilation technology) to enhance the penetration, distribution and assimilation of a particular nutrient by a crop. This is done by the enhancement or regulation of specific plant processes to maximise the efficacy of the nutrient spray.
This is used to best effect with the foliar fertiliser Releaf 360 which is a 12-12-12 liquid fertiliser with generous levels of trace elements accompanied by a MAS bio pack. The bio pack is combined with the nutrients to reduce the stress associated with multiple pesticide applications and to rapidly aid the recovery from the application to maintain quality and yield.
Releaf 360 with regular use also enhances nutrient distribution in crops and with and all with an application rate of just 1 litre per Ha!
42Phi Range
A range of advanced Phosphite/Phosphate foliar fertilisers combined with selected secondary or micronutrient package to maintain the established yield of crops. 42Phi fertilisers are applied through peak periods of nutrient demand to aid nutrient mobility and to energise rootzones to support crops when they need it most. The range covers three foliar fertiliser packages:
42Phi Calcium with Boron and Zinc
42Phi Zinc/Manganese
42Phi Copper
Bio-Chel
A range of cutting-edge natural lignin chelates designed to provide growers with high performance yet cost effective micro nutrient chelates which have a wide pH range of stability and availability. Two of the range have already proven themselves in Europe and are gaining a strong following amongst fruit growers.
Bio-Chel Fe is a lignin chelate which provides an 11% Iron chelate complex with a stability and availability across a pH range of 2-9. The latest product added to the range is Bio-Chel Calcium powder. This unique chelate provides a nitrogen/chloride free calcium source which is 22% CaO and can be used through irrigation of all types or foliarly fed.
To add to the above ranges are a stable of new technology products designed to help fruit growers meet the ever increasing demands of growing for the multiples.
Launched in 2014, Brix Builder is a new foliar fertiliser proven to aid the production of sugars in fruit and to aid poorly performing crops. This organic nutrient package of plant extracts, amino acid and natural carbohydrate sources will quickly boost brix levels in all fruiting crops from strawberries to grapes and melon and even in crops such as peas. Used for the first time in 2013 Brix builder was utilised to great effect with strawberry growers across the UK and later in Spain on tomatoes, peppers and melons.
Integrate is probably the largest selling Engage agro product across the US and Canada and utilises a new tri-block co polymer surfactant aimed at moving nutrients in the rootzone. The tri-block co polymer creates a unique lateral water movement action to move water and nutrients to all parts of a soil bed or a coir slab. Integrate can be used to maximum effect when wetting coir slabs as all parts of the slab are conditioned with integrate resulting in full wetting and expansion within minutes instead of days. Once fully conditioned with integrate nutrient levels become very even across a restricted rootzone in a pot or coir/peat growing slab which results in more even feeding leading to healthier nutrient management practices and in turn happier crops.
The latest development from Engage Agro and launched at Fruit Focus is Polli-Build. Polli-Build is a new nutrient spray for the blossom period which uses organic acid technology, boron and bio activators to aid pollen production, hydration and germination to enhance fertilisation. The product has been used now for 5 years across Canada and the USA to produce a larger percentage of set flowers with stronger set resulting to increased production and more uniform quality of fruit. A further exciting development with Poll-Build is that it has proven to naturally enhance ‘in crop’ bee foraging.
With distribution now running with both Agrovista and Agrii and spring sales being vibrant, this year is an exciting time for Engage Agro Europe.
