Stanley's Greenhouse:

US (TN): Knoxville fire threatens subdivision and greenhouse

A brush fire scorched six acres Monday morning in south Knoxville, threatening a nearby subdivision and a popular greenhouse.

Knoxville firefighters arrived at Lippencot Street at about 3:30 a.m., where they battled the fire as it ravaged across the hilly terrain for several hours. Fortunately, crews were able to keep the brush fire from spreading to nearby homes and Stanley's Greenhouse.

The Tennessee Department of Forestry is now clearing trees so firefighters can access the burnt areas.
