Biobest awarded for sustainable management
Bionest has been awarded for it's sustainable management by business magazine Trends, who organizes an annual competition for Belgian companies that excel in terms of sustainable management, innovation and exports. A strong expert panel was put together to select – from around 250 company files submitted - one winner in each category for Flanders. The winners were announced on November 26th in the context of the Trends Business Tour in Flanders Expo in Ghent. Biobest won the award in the category sustainable management.
Biobest CEO Jean-Marc Vandoorne: ”This award for sustainable management is an important recognition for the continuous efforts of our people. Our products contribute to sustainable agriculture. Our bumblebees guarantee high yields of top-quality produce. We also offer a broad range of solutions for biological control. In this way we help growers to offer the consumer environmentally-friendly and healthy products free of chemical residues. But sustainable management goes well beyond offering sustainable products. The jury also took into account that we deliver consistent growth and looked at a broad range of other parameters. We clearly convinced them that Biobest is well prepared to further develop its worldwide activities in the years to come.”
