Large new 'Turkish' greenhouse complex to be built in Dagestan

The Ministry of trade and foreign economic relations of the Republic of Dagestan has signed an agreement with a Turkish company to expand on the Dagestan "Agromir" greenhouse complex from 3 to 10 hectars, as well as the supply of greenhouse equipment worth 500 thousand US dollars.

According to SKFO.RU, the installation of new equipment suggests almost completely mechanized production, modern methods of soil cultivation and energy saving technologies.

The agreement was signed after the guests were convinced of the profitability of the project and analysed the profitability of the whole enterprise. It is worth mentioning, that of a million tonnes of vegetables grown in Dagestan, 600 thousand tonnes are produced in greenhouses.
