FEPEX and the Tomato and Cucumber Growers Association of Poland, SPPIOPO, held a working meeting on 19th November in Brussels in order to share information on the characteristics of the tomato industry in both countries and look for joint collaboration lines. The meeting analysed the tomato situation in both countries as well as the position of this product in the proposed single CMO regulation and within the Common Agricultural Policy.
The SPPIOPO,is an industry organization that was created a year ago in Poland and represents about 50% of the tomato production in this country. The President of this Association is MularskiMaciej, who along with FEPEX Director José MaríaPozancos led the meeting.
