In Almeria, the granting of new licenses for the modernization of greenhouses and new constructions in the municipality of El Ejido in has grown in 2013 by 68% over the last year. This significant increase of applications for new constructions and the modernization and adaptation of existing ones, is mainly due more and more supporting initiatives by the local governments to support local economic growth.
