Europe: 80 hectares of NUN 09008 TOF
Last week Nunhems reached a notable milestone when the 1,000,000th seed of the tomato variety NUN 09008 TOF was sown. The plant raiser who sowed this millionth seed is Vreugdenhil, and tomato grower Schenkeveld will grow the variety in the coming season. Harm Ammerlaan, sales specialist for high tech tomatoes at Nunhems, celebrated this special occasion with both companies with a special NUN 09008 TOF cake.
