Asia: Seed breeder Incotec opens office in Kuala Lumpur
The 13th INCOTEC company, and the 4th in Southeast Asia, was opened on 2 October.This newest INCOTEC subsidiary in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia will operate initially as a sales office introducing state-of-the-art seed improvement technologies for crops such as rice and corn as well as vegetable crops.
Management of this company will be in the hands of Mr Cyril Hew Thai Hsoon and he will focus on introducing INCOTEC activities into the fast growing market in Southeast Asia.
With the population growth in this area increasing rapidly so is the demand for sustainable production of healthy food. INCOTEC has developed a number of products especially for this region. These product will help local growers to increase yield and therefor income. Opening this new INCOTEC company in Malaysia means that we can stay in direct contact with the end users of our products making it easier for us to understand and respond to the needs of the market.
