"Choice for Inzell RZ is a choice for quality”"
Dutch growers Robert and Albert Solleveld have been growing yellow peppers since 1998. Nursery Parasol has stood for quality produce ever since.
The past 10 years have been busy for Nursery Parasol. In 2003, a greenhouse was added. In 2006 a joint investment (with partner Quality Queen) was made in a logistics and packaging center in Maasdijk. Today the place is a daily coming and going of fruit in colourful collection of boxes, crates and other containers. "Most of our peppers go to the UK, where color and shape are more important," says Robert. "Therefore we also find varieties that can satisfy at high levels.”
Variety of choice is Inzell RZ. Both in terms of quality and production volumes, the breed pays off. "Compared to our last variety we harvest about 2 kilos more," says Albert. "In addition, Inzell is a nice crop to work with. It's a bit more elongated than other varieties, so you can cut it more easily. Also, the setting is really great, even in dark weather. I think we’ll be sticking with this variety for a while. A choice for Inzell is a choice for quality.”
