US: McConkey expands sales team in Pacific Region
Continuing their pattern of growth, McConkey is focusing on the Pacific US, starting with the addition of Jim De’Ora as account manager servicing the Puget Sound region of Seattle and Southern Washington, as well as selected nursery accounts in Oregon and Washington.
“Historically this has been a key sales region for McConkey, and we are looking forward to continual growth from this area,” says Dave Edenfield, McConkey Business Development Manager. “The addition of an experienced sales strategist like Jim allows us to renew focus on this important area.”
With more than 27 years in the industry, Jim has covered accounts in the Pacific Northwest for industry leaders including El Modeno Gardens and Color Spot Nurseries. His background includes experience in sales, customer service and distribution of retail ready products throughout Oregon, Washington and Western Idaho. He has also worked closely with several big box retailers on product development, sales promotions and store support.
“Jim is known throughout the industry for his horticultural knowledge, expertise and superior personal customer service,” says Dave, “all benefits that will help not only McConkey but our customers grow stronger.”
Jim can be reached at 425-765-8040 or j.deora@mcconkeyco.com.
