Canada (QC): Serres Belle invests in biomass technology

According to the Canadian Biomass Magazine, a Quebec greenhouse grower is choosing to convert to using wood pellets and wood chips to provide heat for his operations. In Saint-Nazaire, greenhouse operator Serres Belle de jours has installed a Biotec 300 boiler to produce nearly 3500 kW-h. The hot water boiler, which uses wood chips, will be used for the greenhouses’ heating system.

The systems is sold and installed by Quebec-based Beloteq. According to Beloteq, businesses in Quebec continue to convert their energy production to biomass solutions as more and more companies learn about the success of biomass-based heating and energy production projects across Quebec and throughout Canada.
