Next month Koppert will be present at four international fairs/events; Vegetal World in Valencia 2 - 4 October, Fruit Attraction in Madrid 16 – 18 October, PMA in New Orleans 19 – 20 October and ABIM in Basel 21 – 23 October. Next to this, Koppert will also be present at Apimondia for the first time. The world's largest event for the pollination sector will be held this year from 29 September to 4 October in Kiev, Ukraine.
Vegetal World
This event is a new concept for the agricultural production sector. Consumers and markets are increasingly demanding, this is why agriculture cannot stay away from the new management models, must look forward and show its identity characteristics: quality, food safety and respect for the environment. Vegetal World is an Innovation and Agricultural Production Trade fair, that aims to professionalize and stimulate the sector, a project by and for professionals in this sector.
Koppert has wanted to participate in the Vegetal World since its first edition, because of the comprehensive spirit of this fair and the high relevance of all the issues related with plant health. Koppert will have an active involvement as an exhibiting company and will show some of our biological solutions related to the fair. Fruit Attraction
The international trade show for the fruit and vegetable industry, Fruit Attraction, will celebrate its fifth edition in Madrid from 16 – 18 October. In IFEMA Madrid a lot of companies in the horticultural sector will be present. A wonderful opportunity for our subsidiary in Spain, Koppert España S.L , to showcase its products and innovations. PMA New Orleans
From 18 – 20 October the Dutch ministry of Agriculture will present their Holland Pavilion at PMA Fresh Summit again. Together with other Dutch participants, Koppert will be present at the Holland Pavilion. We would like to welcome you at booth 3839.
The Produce Marketing Association welcomes visitors from more than 60 countries to the Fresh Summit International Convention & Exposition each year. This fair is one of the largest events dedicated to fruit, vegetables and floriculture in North-America. This year’s PMA will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana. Koppert employees from Koppert Canada, USA and Mexico will be present at our booth.

ABIM
The 8th Annual Biocontrol Industry Meeting ABIM will be held at the Congress Center Basel, Switzerland 21-23 October 2013. The prime international meeting of the biocontrol industry, novel and safe biological crop protection products will be presented and new trends in the global market will be discussed.
Koppert is represented with a booth at the exhibition and is also official sponsor of the event. Dr. Willem Ravensberg, who is head research & development department Micriobials at Koppert Biological Systems, is also president of IBMA. Therefore he will present the objectives of IBMA and ABIM 2013 during the official welcoming at 17.30 p.m. In addition, he will be chairman for the plenary session on the second day ‘Biocontrol, the SUD and the NAPs’. On the same day, Johannette Klapwijk (Research&Development entomology department at Koppert), will take the role of chair during the Plenary session 3 'Biocontrol solutions of IBCA origin'.
Further, a special welcome to the presentation of Franz Bigler (IOBC) ‘The roles and interaction of IOBC and IBMA in biocontrol’ at 06.00 p.m. on 22 October. After this session it is possible to join for an aperitif, which is sponsor by Koppert.

Apimondia
This event offers businesses the opportunity to present themselves to apiculture specialists and related fields, representatives of NGOs and commercial businesses, and scientists and researchers from all over the world.
Because of the scarcity of honeybees, Koppert will be presenting bumblebees as a good supplement for pollinating a number of different crops. Koppert's pollination solutions such as Natupol and Tripol are highly suited to being combined with honeybees.
