International trade fair for flowers and plants now pointed at the horticulture chain as a whole

IFTF 2013: Meeting the missing link IHTF

More complete, bigger and much more diverse than ever before: That is what the 2013 edition of IFTF will present this year, the International Floriculture Trade Fair, which will be held from the 6th to the 8th of November in Expo Haarlemmermeer, Vijfhuizen, Holland. This year the international trade fair for flowers and plants will take place at the same time as its brand new ‘sister fair’ IHTF, The International Horticulture Trade Fair.

The prime focus at IFTF are the growers of flowers and plants from both inside as well as outside the Netherlands. Together with the breeders, suppliers, traders en other exhibitors, they represent the back bone of the fair. The organisers managed this year to attract even more (foreign) growers, with the purpose of offering a complete platform where buyers can literally source everything of what they could be looking for.

New sister expo IHTF

Great news for the 2013 edition is the fact that together with IFTF also the brand new horticulture trade fair IHTF will open its doors. This International Horticulture Trade Fair is meant for companies active in horticulture technology and will be held at the same dates (November 6, 7 and 8) in Expo Haarlemmermeer. Furthermore, visitors can profit from the other exhibition Flora Holland trade fair, which will take place in and organised by the flower auction for its members, in Aalsmeer on a 10 kilometer distance.

IFTF and IHTF together will almost double its number of exhibitors this year, and be the host for more then 350 exhibitors offering a complete package of the national and international horticulture industry. Attendees will not only find the best and newest developments in the field of flowers and plants, but also many product innovations, ideas, tools en services all directed towards the complete horticulture chain. According to the organisers, the two trade fairs will create a big boost and form the basis of what must become the world’s biggest trade fair for the international horticulture industry.
