In December 2011, KUBO reported on the construction of the second phase at Southern Paprika in New Zealand. This Dutch-New Zealand company awarded KUBO the contract to build the first 15 hectares in 2007. Following the 4-hectare expansion, the third and final phase encompassing 3.8 hectares will commence in October. The company, based in Warkworth on New Zealand’s North Island, cultivates sweet peppers for the local and Japanese markets.
