"This patent award demonstrates once again that FlowVision's approach to inventory and supply chain management is unique and unmatched by any other method," says Mike Henderson, FlowVision Partner and co-inventor. "The inventory management system allows our customers to optimize inventory by balancing fill rates, customer service and asset utilization. Whether optimizing one location or the entire supply chain, FlowVision's proprietary algorithms use statistical techniques that significantly improve our customer's operational results."
Dave Pytel, partner of FlowVision and co-inventor adds, "We have committed our company to be the leading innovators in supply chain management solutions. Our dedicated employees have helped to develop not only the algorithms to optimize inventory, but our planning methodology, called Lean Material Strategies, and the software tools needed to sustain the results. We look forward to continually working with our customers in an effort to bring them state-of-the-art lean solutions to their supply chain managers."
FlowVision Inventory Management System has been deployed throughout North America, Europe and Asia with remarkable results. The system allows our customers to manage their assets, not only within their company, but also throughout distribution centers, warehouses, suppliers, customers and the entire supply chain irrespective of inventory ownership. The statistical approach allows customers to dynamically update inventory levels as business conditions change. The electronic solution easily ties to customer's ERP systems allowing seamless integration with existing general ledgers and accounting systems.
