British supermarket chain building 40ha of greenhouses in Almeria?

There are rumours that a British supermarket is constructing greenhouses in Almeria. A British chain has recently been associated with an employer from Almeria and that is currently looking for land to build about 40 hectares of greenhouses.

The source of this news has not yet revealed which chain it relates to. The suggestion is that they do not want reform existing structures, but to create new greenhouses in the most modern way possible.

It is suggested that this British chain plans to produce cucumbers, peppers and tomatoes in the greenhouse, which will be managed by its Spanish partner.
