Green peppers differ in taste, color, preparation and eating patterns

Given the constant demand and positive pricing, green peppers once again prove their usefulness to growers and traders this year. In the past, green peppers were often seen as an obligatory part of the familiar traffic light colours. Now it’s becoming clear that the green pepper is able to hold its own.

Condition does appear to be that the green pepper meets the following criteria:
  • Dark green color
  • Slow to turn red
  • Typical block form
  • Good price / quality ratio
  • Excellent fruit quality at harvest and after storage

One variety that more than meets aforementioned conditions is Morraine by De Ruiter Seeds. Morraine therefore seems an obvious choice for the 2013-2014 season. The account managers of De Ruiter are more than willing to drop by and explain the benefits of this extraordinary variety.

See a video on Morraine below or on Vimeo.
