Mexico: Growers face persistent problems with discoloration of Italian salad

For nearly a year, Mexican producers have a recurring problem with the production of Italian lettuce. In the young lettuce plants arises a ‘yellowing’ of the leaf, which spreads over the rest of the crop during the growing period. The result is that the crop is not suitable for sale.
