The high quality and the excellent agronomic performances of the varieties showcased were recognised by those who took part in the event. Dealers, nursery gardeners and producers were able to have a look at the range and at the new varieties created by Gautier Sementi, which has always been very active in meeting both production and commercial needs.
Copernic (ex J360) and J379, the two new varieties of gentile lettuce resistant to fusarium, were particularly successful.
J379 – Compact gentile lettuce resistant to fusarium and ideal for summer.
Country (exC175) – Vigour and long shelf-life
Blonde Spring butterhead lettuce. Early plant, with semi-open full heads, easy to cut. Healthy closed bottom. Ideal for Spring and Autumn harvesting.

C304 – Original Summer butterhead lettuce
Good performances and deep green colour. Excellent bottoms, open full head. Smooth, entire leaves that do not loose colour, easy to handle and to process. Ideal for late Spring and Summer harvesting.
