Canada: Register now for Growing Forward 2 information sessions in Ontario

Farmers, producers and processors are invited to attend one of nine Growing Forward 2 (GF2) information sessions presented by the Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association, and the Rural Programs Branch of the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food and Ministry of Rural Affairs. These sessions are being staged across the province between May 30 and June 7, 2013, to provide program details and opportunities offered under GF2. The sessions will contain specific information related to not only the Environment Farm Plan, but also the biosafety, on-farm food safety and traceability programs. The information provided will be educative and relevant to all farmers.

The Ontario Soil & Crop Improvement Association is the farm organization that will be delivering GF2 programs to farmers. These programs are intended to help the agricultural industry capitalize on opportunities and contribute to the economy.

A complete list of session locations, dates and times and pre-registration is available at http://registration.wildapricot.org.
