Second Techmek I-Grade machine for Beekenkamp Plants

Last september the first Techmek grading machine was delivered for grading tomato rootstocks. Grading is done first on stem diameter, this is done with an accuracy of 0,1 mm. For grafting this is the most important setting for a good result. Second settings are height and leaf surface.

After the tomato season the machine is used for Cylamen. This is one of the unique possibilities of this machine, in about one hour you run a complete different product over the machine in different tray, plug size etc.

With Cyclamen, the grading machine has another very unique option: it can rotate the leaves all in one direction when putting back into the destination tray. The benefit of this is that you can grade much bigger plants. And have a much better grading result.

Techmek is using in its grading industrial robots for there precision, reliabilty and low maintenance. This is proven truth after 12 million plants. Maintenance costs are as low as € 100 per month and down time is almost zero.
