Ukraine: Flowers and Hortech 2013 ready for take of

Next Tuesday, the leading exhibition for flower business in the Ukraine will take off at the International Exhibition Center in Kiev. According to Kuno Jacobs from BTO Exhibitions, this years Flowers and Hortech 2013 will be more and more focused on the relationship between growers and trade. "Growers are profiling their selfs more and more as direct traders," Jacobs said. "That's why we see more growers attending the trade fair as an exhibitor, they are looking for direct sales. This trend started in the Netherlands, but nowadays of course other growers in countries like Ecuador follow this trend."

This year a group of seven companies from Ecuador will exhibit at the Flowers and Hortech Ukraine. "They are looking for trade partners in Ukraine, a country where Ecuadorian roses are a beloved product. As well as the growers, a big group of companies that supply starting material and greenhouse technology will exhibit at the trade fair."
