US: NOP Updates list of certified organic operations

The USDA National Organic Program has published the updated 2012 list of certified organic operations. As of the end of 2012, 17,750 organic farms and processing facilities in the United States were certified to the USDA organic standards. The certified operations list allows buyers and sellers and the public to identify and connect with organic stakeholders across the supply chain. This list provides information such as operation name and location, the scope of organic certification (crops, livestock, wild crops, handling), the operation's certifier, and a listing of products.
