SerEnergy
Italy: Spraying systems lower greenhouse management and personnel costs
Ser Energy srl is a company working in the civil and industrial electrical plant sector. Its objective is to combine energy supply systems and solutions for a rational use of the resources available. At such a historic-economical period, where costs influence economic balances, it is essential to use energy cleverly and efficiently.
Among other activities, Serenergy designs and commercialises outdoor and indoor spraying systems, ideal to lower the temperature and humidify the environment. Such systems use water at a 60-100 bar pressure, which then forms 10 micron drops that are sprayed through special nozzles to lower the temperature. "Perfect Cool" systems can be installed both indoors and outdoors.
Mist humidification systems are extensively used to control the climate in greenhouses, and offer numerous advantages for the maintenance of temperature and humidity. They are used both in summer (to cool the greenhouse) and in winter (to control humidity) and avoid the dehydration of plants, especially the most delicate ones, when it's impossible to use traditional methods.
On top of increasing the productivity of crops thanks to temperature and humidity regulation as well as disease control, spraying is ideal to spread fertilizers, pesticides and any other substance requiring an even distribution. All of this, with lower management and personnel costs.
Spraying systems can also be used in floriculture, viticulture, in fruit and vegetable stalls and in food processing industries.
