Germany: Landgard continues re-mediation

Landgard, Germany's largest marketing organization for flowers, plants, vegetables and fruit, continues implementing measures to re-mediate its financial wellbeing. This process will certainly continue until 2015, according to Finance Director Gerold Kaltenbach. For now, reserves are still guaranteed and credit lines will last until the end of 2014.

Kaltenbach is said to be fairly optimistic and fully intends to carry on rehabilitating Landgard’s financial sustainability. Currently, the company is busy closing the books on 2012’s fiscal year. Kaltenbach has already claimed a provisional turnover of more than two billion Euro, calling it a profitable and auspicious outcome. The past year has seen some substantial restructuring, and this year will be no different. A further reduction of costs will have priority, according to Landgard.
