New technique enables mechanical regulation crop growth

On behalf of changing regulations in some countries, you might be forced to diminish your use of moderators. Arend-Sosef has therefore developed a machine to regulate or even brake the growth of your crop. Jos Duijvesteijn, head of the Mechanisation department of Arend-Sosef says: “Last year, Arend-Sosef initiated a test of this regulating machine in pot roses. After six months, a 90% decrease of the use of the Bonzi moderator has been accomplished. Soon we will also start a test of the growth regulating machine in chrysanthemum, in combination with sticky traps. We expect the results of this test mid May.”

Some advantages of this growth regulating machine:

• less or no use of expensive moderators;
• no wetting of your crop;
• solar irradiance no longer as restrictive factor;
• diminishing of the annoying job of spraying;
• easy dosage setting;
• automatically adjustable 24/7;
• labour saving;
• will only affect problem areas, doesn’t reach the smaller crop areas.

If you are interested, please contact the export department of Arend-Sosef to discuss the technical possibilities or to keep you posted about the developments and the test results.
