Canada: Jonathan Pedersen joins Van Belle Nursery

Van Belle Nursery is pleased to announce that Jonathan Pedersen has joined the Van Belle team. “We are excited to have Jonathan come on board. He brings a lot of energy and expertise that will strengthen our company,” said Dave Van Belle.

Pedersen is well known for his accomplishments during his time at Bailey Nurseries. While there, he led the team that introduced some of the most well known brands in horticulture today, including The Endless Summer Collection, Easy Elegance Roses, and First Editions.

“I’m excited to be working with the dedicated team at Van Belle on an exciting new branding venture. We think alike and have the same goal of helping today’s consumer be successful with plants regardless of their gardening knowledge,” said Pedersen, who will lead the new branding efforts.

“Over the next few months, you can look forward to a brand with a new message and customer first focus,” said DeVonne Friesen. “This new brand, called Bloomin’ Easy™, will aim to provide on-going product-specific support for homeowners, and feature plants that are easy to grow and maintain. We see great opportunity for both growers and retailers, and are excited about having Jonathan lead the development of Bloomin’ Easy as its Executive Director.”

Van Belle Nursery is a wholesale grower in the Pacific Northwest that ships and travels North America-wide. Our approach is to develop profitable, long-term business relationships with other growers, re-wholesalers, and with retailers.

We’re known for our innovative delivery and growing process, and we specialize in propagating and producing hardy ornamental shrubs—from four inch liners to finished containers, and from tried and true top-selling varieties to new and branded lines.
