Russia: Construction greenhouse complex near Voronezh has commenced

As part of a regional program of the socio-economic development of the Voronezh region in 2010-2014, the construction of a large-scale greenhouse complex specializing in growing tomatoes and cucumbers will begin in the region in the very near future.

Agrarian enterprise will open in Bogucharovski district of the region. It will actively use Dutch technologies to growing vegetables, which European experts shared with local farmers.

Currently, the foundation of the greenhouse complex and the framework of the first stage are ready (it will be constructed in 6 stages). The complex will occupy an area of 36 hectares and will employ 296 residents of the Voronezh region.
