"That emphasises the significance of IPM ESSEN as the number one. The worldwide range available in the green sector and the international demand encounter each other here," according to Frank Thorwirth, Chairman and CEO of Messe Essen, and Egon Galinnis, Managing Director of Messe Essen.

The great satisfaction not only of the visitors but also of the exhibitors can also be gauged by the revisiting intentions. Even now, 92 percent of the visitors and of the exhibitors thus already stated that they will be involved in IPM ESSEN 2014 which will take place at Messe Essen on January 28 - 31, 2014.

Exhibitors' Opinions:
Rohan Ariyapala, General Manager, Coco Agro (PVT) Ltd., Manufacturer & Exporter of Coco Coir Growing Mediums: "IPM ESSEN was very successful for us. We were involved for the first time and our expectations were met to the full. We had a lot of, above all, qualitatively valuable discussions with experts on our well-visited booth. In this respect, we have been impressed, in particular, by the internationality and expert knowledge of the visitors. There was a high demand for our special peat soils on a coconut basis. We have already made firm plans for IPM 2014."Wilma Peelen & Jaap Sneeboer, Business Proprietors, Sneeboer BV:
"The fair has gone very well! We had a lot of visitors - including a lot of our customers who knew that we are exhibiting at IPM ESSEN. We were very pleased to meet even business customers from Canada and America here. However, we were also able to establish new contacts. Anyway, the public was very international and, of course, knowledgeable. Our lawn edge piercer was particularly popular. Next year, we will definitely be involved once again."
Oscar Calabuig, Member of the Board of the Fepex Association (FederaciĆ³n EspaƱola de Asociaciones de Productores Exportadores de Frutas, Hortalizas, Flores y Plantas Vivas): "IPM ESSEN was very successful for us. Germany and France are important sales markets for our Mediterranean products. We had a lot of customers not only from these countries but also from Turkey or Italy. We are very satisfied with our joint presentation. We have exhibited in one hall together with over 40 of our Spanish member businesses. Thus, the visitors were able to obtain information in a compact form. There was particular demand not only for our spice plants but also for the entire spectrum from camellias right up to palm trees."
