Increasing number of customers on FloraHolland’s digital trading platforms

Over 4,000 transactions were processed through the digital platforms of FloraHolland in week 2. Both the width of the supply and the number of customers at PlantConnect, FloraHolland e-Trade and Auction Presale are growing fast. Currently, the platforms have 245, 50 and 128 connected customers respectively. FloraHolland also expect a hefty growth in the number of customers on our digital trading platforms in 2013.
Guaranteeing supply availability

PlantConnect created an XML link in December. This allows customers to display in real time the widest range of available plants in their webshop. The guarantee that the supply in the webshops is actually available is important for customers. The number of growers extending this guarantee is growing. This provides great benefits to exporters. Growers no longer have to make follow-up calls and exporters can continue putting one-on-one supply in their own webshops.
