US:107-year-old investor likes Monsanto

Irving Kahn, the 107-year-old chairman of Kahn Brothers Group in New York, likes agriculture stocks in general and Monsanto in particular. "The sun does the work for you," he told The Wall Street Journal.

And as the paper's Intelligent Investor columnist Jason Zweig put it, "When you get the chance to learn from someone with 84 years of investment experience, you should take it.". That's right — Kahn began woking on Wall Street as a runner in 1928 and learned value investing from Benjamin Graham, who was Warren Buffet's teacher as well. And Kahn still works five days a week.
