US: 16 tons of marijuana seized at LA plant nursery

About 16 tons of marijuana were seized at a plant nursery in Long Beach this week, authorities said Saturday. Investigators served a search warrant at the Rolling Hills Nursery in the 6900 block of Orange Avenue in Long Beach, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. The marijuana, valued at $150 million to $300 million, depending on the quality, was discovered in two large storage containers on the property. Four suspects were arrested at the scene and booked at the sheriff's Lakewood station, officials said in a statement.
