Russia: Second phase of 21 ha greenhouse to be launched in Dagestan

The second phase of the Yougagrholding greenhouse complex will be launched in 2018, with overall investments in the project to comprise 26 million euros, reported the regional administration and republican government press services.

The announcement read that construction is carried out on a 53 ha plot in four phases. The greenhouse acreage will comprise 21.2 ha. The first phase of the biggest greenhouse in Dagestan will produce tomatoes to be sold in Russia.

Government representatives noted that the construction of a factory for sandwich panels and metal greenhouse constructions has been completed, and the investor is building fruit and vegetable storage facilities with a capacity of four thousand tons and six thousand tons respectively.
