European Commission to propose organic farming rules by March

The European Commission is aiming to propose changes to EU organic farming legislation by March, with stricter rules for control bodies in prospect. The proposals - previously expected by the end of this year - will concern production rules and control rules, including the import regime, the Commission told Agra Europe.
