one-of-its-kind conference draws industry leaders to Las Vegas:

Photo Report: 4th Annual Indoor Ag-Con

From small indoor growers of microgreens to operators of large scale multilayer plant factories and greenhouse facilities; almost everybody active in North America's indoor agriculture industry gathered in Las Vegas last week for the 4th Annual Indoor Ag-Con.

The event, held at the Las Vegas Convention Center and organized by Newbean Capital, again proved to be a not-to-miss conference for those either already active in or planning to enter the upcoming indoor farming industry. With interesting keynotes and a large number of speakers addressing all challenges, solutions and most recent innovations in controlled environment agriculture, the Indoor Ag-Con has become a one-of-its-kind conference that knows how to serve this vibrant and relatively new and upcoming industry.

At the trade show floor we had the opportunity to catch up with more than 50 exhibitors that were showcasing a variety of supplies; from LED lighting and hydroponic supplies, to greenhouse structures, complete indoor farming systems, climate control solutions and even consulting services and industry body representatives. Walking the trade show floor we also had the pleasure to run into several other industry suppliers that were just visiting the show, curious to see what it had to offer them.

Speaking to both exhibitors and visitors, we learned that there was a very positive atmosphere among the participants; it seems that the Indoor Ag-Con has managed to attract key players in today's indoor farming industry that can't be found at any existing events or shows as they are mostly focused on greenhouse horticulture in general. Indoor (warehouse, container and vertical) farming has become an industry of its own, demanding a specific type of expertise. For them Indoor Ag-Con has become the platform to exchange specific expertise and knowledge on indoor farming.

We made a complete recap of the 4th Annual Indoor Ag-Con in the form of a photo report. Click here to view the photo report.

Over the coming weeks we will highlight indoor agriculture in several articles on our newsletters.
