The Chiapas Flower company (www.chiapasflower.com) is located in the mountains North East of Tapachula town in the southern Chiapas province of Mexico, close to Guetamala. successfully
The nursery is located in an area with tropical climate, but in the mountains 850 meter above sea level. The area is used for coffee production.
The Boehme family runs a big coffee farm themselves. Some years back flower production was taken up as well, with Phaelonopsis and Anthurium. Modern greenhouse technology has been introduced, including heating and cooling facilities for the orchids. The production is primarily sold in Mexico. Rainer Boehme is in charge of the flower production.
Since July 2014, Chiapas Flower is using an Aqua-Hort machine, tank model, for the orchid production. Some Erwinia bacterial problems hampered the production at the time. After one week use the situation already improved. The quality of the production has been raised considerably. Rainer Boehme is very satisfied with the Aqua-Hort installation.
Aqua Hort Fertilizers unit are used by growers worldwide, amongst them there are growers of trees, flowers, plants, fruit, vegetables and leafy greens and herbs. Thanks to the innovative concept by treating water with electrolysis in order to fight bacteria and fungus that can damage plants. The electromagnetic force exerted on treated water literally pulls bacteria apart, causing them to die. The electrolysis system based on the use of copper is an effective way to treat water against fungus and bacteria, but it also helps to establish a healthy root and plant development.
