Thanks to the support of the charity fund in the Dunayevets community of the Khmelnytsky region, the settlers will be able to grow vegetables in a newly built greenhouse. This is reported by the Voice of Ukraine, writes agronews.ua.
For the residents of the Mynkivtsi village of the Dunayevets community in the Khmelnytskyi region, as well as for the internally displaced persons who settled there, the question of which vegetables to eat, their own or imported, does not arise. As soon as the snow fell, we immediately thought of gardens: where to start?
In fact, it is still too early for fieldwork. But the time is right for the greenhouse that appeared in the village. It was established thanks to the charitable foundation "Rokada" with the support of the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine. Some seeds were also donated by benefactors. In order for the emigrants to carry out this project, the Embassy of the Netherlands also joined in, appointing a consultant to give free recommendations.
Now, vegetables will be grown in a greenhouse on almost two and a half hectares. Part for myself, part for sale. As soon as it thaws, they will take care of the seedlings. And onions are planted first. If the produce could be sold, people wanted to start their own farms. They hope that thanks to the greenhouse, there will also be work for immigrants.
