Elevated leaf picking cart to reach increasingly high tomato leaves

It happens quite often that the tomato crop is just too high to be able to cut or pick the leaves. This is why Steenks Services and Berg Hortimotive have joined forces again. A cart has since been designed to easily pick and cut the leaves. Wouter Steenks: "From an ergonomic point of view, this is more responsible. With this cart you are at the desired level, which means that this investment pays for itself quickly: work takes place faster."

This leaf picking cart was initially designed for a breeder, who now uses a large number of them. Breeders have small sections to work with and a lot of work at a lower level. The cart was very practical in terms of compactness, maneuverability and driving comfort.

Dropped railing

The railing has been lowered in order to make this same cart suitable for other applications. Due to the lower railing, there is now enough space to be able to remove leaves perfectly. Steenks Services has brought this leaf picking cart to the market a year ago. Wouter: "There are already a lot of hectares of tomato leaves picked by this cart.

"The cart comes standard equipped with a simple height-adjustable platform complete with control panel and built-in battery charger.
