Dutch aubergine nursery goes straight to consumer

The first aubergines are available at nursery Zwinkels. The Zwinkels family is entrusting STC International with the sales of all of their products. Because of this cooperation STC International becomes the extension of nursery to the customer. ‘’STC International is specialized in the sales of vegetables. We are doing business directly with the customer which shortens the chain’’, explains Peet Zwinkels.

Together with the grower we determine the strategy to the final customer. In order to manage the sales process, a custom software module has been developed to have direct access to the grower's stock and the remote management of order processing. In this way the efficiency of the sales process is guaranteed.’’ Starting today the aubergines from nursery Zwinkels are available at STC International B.V.

The pearl of aubergines are the aubergines found under the new brand: Méditerranée. Méditerranée aubergines are specially selected aubergines that are packaged ‘laid’. The packaging box is designed to position the laid aubergines in a professional manner and present them to the customer. All Méditerranée aubergines are provided with an attractive brand label.
