The construction of Rijk Zwaan in Dinteloord is in full swing. Rijk Zwaan owns a total of 49 hectares in the AFC (Agro & Food Cluster) of Dinteloord and Prinsenland. The works at the location has recently started: there will be greenhouses and office space. Rijk Zwaan is setting up a growth and development center. New varieties will be developed at this center and this location will also serve as a seed production centre for vegetable crops.
El Flaco scherminstallaties BV started with the installation of screens. The 21 different sections will be equipped with Harmony 5220 O FR screens from Ludvig Svensson. In addition, all 880 air windows will be fitted with insects (bees) net. It was supplied by Holland Gaas. Peter went to examine the various gauze types at different suppliers and in the end, Rijk Zwaan chose the system from Holland Gaas.
