LED forges ahead at the HortiContact

LED is forging ahead and that was clearly evident at the HortiContact. Developers were presenting several new variants of LED lighting for horticulture. Custom-made, in new forms and in combination with fans; new suppliers are ready to storm the market.

QWestland

During HortiContact in Gorinchem, QWestland introduced the ClimaLED3-system to the world. The system consists of a dimmable LED light source and a fan that is controlled separately. "Energy-saving and cost-reducing" Laurent van der Ende and Sjef Verschuren explain. Interested parties may also sign up for the Qwestland Experience, where they can have a look at the ClimaLED3.

Lohuis Lighting

Last week René Grootscholte of Lohuis Lighting showed their new LED fixtures. The lights are of course distinguished by their vertical positioning, but also by the two exposure modes: red-blue and far-red. Meanwhile, tests have started at Noordhuys Tomaten and Jan Reijm.

Lionz Light

Lionz Light has developed a new LED fixture. Especially heat management has gotten a lot of attention in this development process. And ... everything can be customized according to the individual wishes of the customer. This also was done at Florein Gerbera.
