The Ellepot Driller is designed to tackle this problem", the company said in a news release. "This will take the quality of transplanted young plants to a new level."

The new Ellepot Driller is manually operated and specially designed to drill perfect holes in Ellepots or loose filled trays, with focus on step-up and transplanting. The drills gently remove the growth media from the Ellepot, keeping the air porosity and the structure of the Ellepot. The drill unit is customized to the customers' specific tray, and can be changed if the customer has more than one type of tray. The Ellepot Driller can be easily cleaned with a unique wiper, which gently removes any additional growth media that came from drilling the hole.
The Ellepot Driller comes with various features and options, such as the option to change drill tools to create flexibility on pot diameter, tray sizes and drill sizes. The machine has a capacity to drill holes in up to 240 trays per hour. It can drill pots from 25 to 80 mm and drill sizes are 15-50 mm.
