Established in 2010, Vittoria Tomatoes currently counts 8 partners, 100 direct employees and around 400 partner employees. The cooperative is now part of O.P. Valleverde.
The company covers 100 hectares of greenhouses and uses integrated control. In addition, it is among the Sicilian companies that hold exclusive rights over the "Piccolo" variety, a cherry tomato between 20 and 35 mm available between November and June. Other varieties are cherry, cocktail, red and yellow date, Venus, single and bunch tomatoes.

"We transplant in August and September and produce in November-June and July-October. We invested a lot in the development of new techniques and we have even started soil-less cultivation."
The produce is mainly sold loose (30%) and in 200 gr/1 kg PET punnets (70%). The company packs its tomatoes in a 1,000 sq m packaging plant equipped with 2 packaging lines and a 400 sq m cold storage unit.
The produce is transported with refrigerated trucks. The company also holds the GlobaGAP and BRC certifications.
