For some years now, Royal Van Zanten has been focusing extra effort on the introduction of new varieties. This has led to such achievements as our successful sales concepts for Celosia Deep Purple® and Hot Topic® and pot Chrysanthemum Organza® and Pura Vida®. Investing in these concepts and introducing new varieties demonstrate how Royal Van Zanten is responding to its customer's preferences and is helping growers increase their marketing opportunities. Placing these new varieties in the spotlight also lengthens their commercial lifespan. One of the new concepts for 2015 is Showmakers®, a series of double-flowered, compact growing asters.Introductions for 2015
This year's catalogue features a wide range of new introductions, such as the Bouvardia pot plant series, of which Royal van Zanten is duly proud.Having introduced the Sorrento® series for the late-season segment, Royal Van Zanten is now able to provide a complete Garden Mum - Multiflora assortment. The Sorrento® series is ideal for growing under Mediterranean conditions for natural flowering in time for the 1st of November (All Saints Day).
The Aster assortment is being extended with the double-flowered Showmakers® series, offering varieties in five separate colours.
In addition to the many new pot Chrysanthemum novelties, Royal Van Zanten is also introducing the Christy® mixes this year: these consist of a series of mutants with an identical growth rate, response time and habit. The Christy® mixes can be used in various colour compositions and are available in these flower types: decorative, daisy-shaped and with spoon-shaped petals.
