As a Service Engineer you help our customers in a friendly, quick and adequate way with questions regarding service and maintenance. You answer questions from customers and provide telephone support to guarantee and optimize the correct functioning of HortiMaX products. You record fault reports, analyze causes and translate them into work to be carried out. If necessary, you will be able to pass on the right complex questions and fault reports to the Technical Consultant or the Customer Service Manager. You can solve faults on site at the customer. In addition, you take care of the commissioning of new HortiMaX systems and devices. You supervise and monitor (national and international) technical activities and instruct users on the operation and application of HortiMaX products.
We are looking for
You have a technical higher professional education, preferably in electrics. Electrical and automation experience in the Greenhouse Horticulture sector is a clear advantage. You also have knowledge of the HortiMaX product range, or you are able to acquire this knowledge quickly through training and experience. You are handy and you can work well with computers. The knowledge in fertigation and heating installations will be valued.
As a Service Engineer you are responsible for maximizing our customer satisfaction, and you are therefore customer-friendly, helpful and decisive. In addition to working as a team within projects, you are also able to maintain customer contact and think commercially. The number of foreign customers is growing steadily as a result of internationalization. Mastering the English language is therefore a requirement, as is the willingness to travel and work internationally. Preferably you also master a second foreign language. In addition, you are flexible and prepared to regularly participate in the breakdown services.
