SEEKING GROWER PARTNER

OFF-GRID COMMERCIAL SOLAR GREENHOUSE DEVELOPMENT

CARIBBEAN AND LATAM REGION

To:          Commercial Fresh Produce Greenhouse Grower Companies

From:         Alquimi Renewables, LLC (www.alquimirenewables.com)

Re:        Evaluating Potential Grower Partners

Alquimi Renewables, LLC (“Alquimi”), is a renewable energy/project development company based in the US.  Alquimi controls an exclusive licensing agreement for the CALA region, representing a US based engineering firm which has developed the first hurricane proof, off grid solar greenhouse systems, incorporating state of the art climate control, solar energy generation, thermal energy storage, hydroponic growing systems, and water generation systems.

Alquimi is currently developing a pilot project in St. Croix, USVI, a US based territory in the Caribbean.  USVI imports over 85% of its fresh produce needs.  Based on final approvals, Alquimi is anticipating a total site area of approximately 20 acres, with 15 acres of enclosed greenhouse space.  Production from this facility will supply St. Croix, St. Thomas, and St. John, with potential to export to the nearby British Virgin Islands based on demand/production levels.  When completed, Alquimi will expand into several other Caribbean islands, where projects are already in development stage.

Alquimi has secured a financing partner, technology partner/EPC, and local EPC partners to support the projects.  The USVI project is ready to proceed immediately.

We are therefore seeking a grower/production partner with the following experience:

•    Commercial level expertise – growing operations, and agri-business;
•    Specialist in diverse fresh produce and fruit growing;
•    Climate controlled greenhouse environments;
•    Hydroponic and traditional growing methods;
•    Tropical growing environments – humidity control;
•    Alternative energy production and storage;
•    Local labour training and recruitment.

Alquimi’s business model presents the following structure:
  1. Grower partner will work directly with Alquimi to evaluate local market conditions (size of market, crop mix to meet demand, specialty crops, regional and local buyers, production levels, etc.);
  2. Greenhouse engineering will design the growing systems based on grower inputs (specialist grower consultant with experience in sub-tropical conditions can support);
  3. Dedicated investment partners will finance the construction of the greenhouse and energy systems as a turnkey model;
  4. Required on-site production, packaging, and/or freezer operations can also be designed and constructed into the model;
  5. Grower will lease the entire facility and pay a percentage rent (% of production) and sign a PPA for the energy use;
  6. Lease term of no less than 20 years is assumed;
  7. Alquimi will assist grower in all aspects of business introductions, supply chain management, and initial training and recruitment, including grant and incentive procurement.
If your company meets this criteria, and you are interested in partnering with us to develop agriculture in a high demand region, create skilled jobs, and you would like to explore participating in this excellent business opportunity, please contact me for more information at:
